Julian G. Francis, President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Francis joined Beacon in August 2019. Prior to Beacon, he was the President of the Insulation Business at Owens Corning, a global leader in insulation, roofing, and fiberglass composite materials, since October 2014. Mr. Francis led Owens Corning’s largest business segment, with over $2.7 billion in revenue in 2018, to significant sales and EBIT growth in each of the preceding three years. From 2012-2014, he served as Vice President and General Manager for Owens Corning’s Residential Insulation Business. Mr. Francis also has served as Vice President and Managing Director for Owens Corning’s Glass Reinforcements, Americas, in the Composite Solutions Business. Prior to joining Owens Corning, Mr. Francis was Vice President and Publishing Director at Reed Business Information, a $2.5 billion global leader in publishing, information, and marketing services. Prior to joining Reed, Mr. Francis spent 10 years at USG Corporation rising through the marketing, strategy, and general management ranks. He last served as Vice President, Marketing, where he created the overall strategy for USG’s $3.3 billion manufacturing business. Mr. Francis earned his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and his doctorate in Materials Engineering at Swansea University in the United Kingdom and earned his MBA at DePaul University

Frank A. Lonegro, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Lonegro joined Beacon in 2020 from CSX Corporation, a $12 billion Fortune 500 transportation company, where he served for 19 years, culminating as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2015-2019. His career at CSX entailed a unique blend of cross-functional experience, combining financial, operational, and functional executive leadership roles. As CFO, he helped oversee transformative operational changes yielding substantial productivity savings and markedly improved operating margins, which led to significant shareholder value creation. Prior to his role as CFO, Mr. Lonegro delivered strong results in key leadership roles of increasing responsibility across operations, service, information technology, and internal audit. Prior to joining CSX, he practiced law for seven years, focusing on complex commercial litigation, loan workouts, and business transactions. Mr. Lonegro earned a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, a law degree from the University of Florida, and an MBA from the University of Florida.

Christine S. Reddy, Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary

Ms. Reddy joined Beacon in April 2021 from Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae), a publicly traded $120 billion financial services company ranked #24 on the Fortune 500 list and the leading source of mortgage financing in the United States. At Fannie Mae, she served for 15 years as Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Deputy Corporate Secretary. Ms. Reddy held roles of increasing responsibility and managed corporate governance functions, as well as legal services for technology and other key corporate operations. She was an executive partner in driving strategic priorities and innovation objectives, including for data, digital platforms, and ESG. A Virginia State and Echols Scholar, Ms. Reddy earned a Phi Beta Kappa bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia and a law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law.

Jonathan S. Bennett, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer

Mr. Bennett, who joined Beacon in June 2021, is responsible for the company’s integrated goto-market strategy comprising selling excellence, category management, marketing, pricing, and supply chain. He previously served as Executive Vice President, Merchandising and Supply Chain at Total Wine & More, the country’s largest independent retailer of beverage alcohol, since 2016. Before that, he was Chief Merchandising Officer of Interline Brands, a $2 billion facilities MRO business that was acquired by The Home Depot during his tenure. Earlier, Mr. Bennett had an 11-year career at The Home Depot, holding roles of increasing responsibility. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a law degree from Harvard Law School.

Sean M. McDevitt, Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer

Mr. McDevitt joined Beacon in May 2021. He had previously served as Executive Vice President and CHRO at Apple Leisure Group, a $4.5 billion global integrated travel company, since 2019. Before that he had a 22-year career with PepsiCo, Inc. and Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc., serving both in the United States and internationally. He concluded his time at Pepsi as Senior Vice President, Field Human Resources for North America Beverages, where he supported over 50,000 employees and led a 250-person HR team across 360 U.S. and Canada locations. Mr. McDevitt earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master of Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University.

Brendan P. Daly, Executive Vice President, Operations Excellence

Mr. Daly was appointed to his current role in November 2019 following success as Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer since November 2013. Prior to joining Beacon, he was the Vice President of Supply Chain-Americas for Zodiac Pool Systems based in California. Mr. Daly’s prior experience includes working for Cooper Industries, The Stanley Works, and General Electric, all in supply chain roles. Mr. Daly has a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy

Christopher C. Nelson, Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer

Mr. Nelson joined Beacon in July 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Nelson was Vice President, Information Systems & Supply Chain, for Dan River, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of bedding products. He was with Dan River for 10 years. Prior to his role at Dan River, Mr. Nelson was with PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Management Consultant. Mr. Nelson received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Global Executive M.B.A. with honors from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Birte von Schwarzenfeld, Senior Vice President, Commercial Solutions

Ms. von Schwarzenfeld, who joined Beacon in August 2022, is responsible for the Company’s Commercial business serving non-residential roofing customers. Prior to joining Beacon, Ms. von Schwarzenfeld worked at Hilti Group for three and a half years. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Strategy and Development. Prior to that, she oversaw the Energy & Industry West Sales Division as Sales Director/Division Manager. Prior to Hilti, she spent six years at Flex Inc. growing progressively from Director to VP and Head of Corporate Strategy, followed by VP and General Manager of Global Account Management. Earlier in her career, she worked at The Boston Consulting Group. Birte holds an M.S. in Physics with Distinction from the Technical University of Berlin and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

C. Munroe Best III, President, South Division

Mr. Best has oversight of the South Division, as well as the National Dealers Choice business. Prior to joining Beacon in 2000, he spent six years with Best Distributing in a variety of roles in the distribution channel and was responsible for launching the complementary products business. He was promoted to Regional Vice President of the South Atlantic Region in 2007 and named Senior Vice President in 2011 when Beacon completed two acquisitions in Florida, and he took on the additional responsibility for the newly formed Florida Region. In 2013, Mr. Best was appointed Executive Vice President of the South Division, and it was at that time that the Southeast Region and Dealers Choice business were added to his overall responsibility. With the acquisition of Allied Building Products in January 2018, Mr. Best was promoted to the role of Divisional President, where he assumed oversight of Beacon’s South Division. Mr. Best graduated from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

J. Jake Gosa, President, North Division

Mr. Gosa has oversight of the North Division including Canada. He began his career at Beacon in 2007 as the Assistant Vice President, Midwest Region. In 2012, Mr. Gosa was promoted to Regional Vice President for the Southwest Region and in 2018 appointed Vice President for the Texas Region. Prior to joining Beacon, he worked at GAF/ELK for 10 years where he held roles of increasing responsibility including National Sales Manager and Director of National Accounts. Mr. Gosa graduated from Shepherd University with a Bachelor of Science in Business.

Jason L. Taylor, President, West Division

Mr. Taylor has oversight of the West Division, which includes the weatherproofing product category. He began his career with Beacon in 2011. During his tenure with the company, he has held the roles of Regional Manager; Regional Vice President for the Pacific Region, and Vice President, Sales for the West Division. Prior to joining Beacon, Mr. Taylor was Vice President at Alix Partners LLP, a consulting firm specializing in turnarounds. Mr. Taylor received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Martin S. Harrell, President, Waterproofing Division

Mr. Harrell has oversight of the Specialty Waterproofing Division. Prior to joining Beacon, he spent ten years as CEO of Coastal Construction Products. During his tenure as CEO, he led Coastal’s efforts to expand its footprint and rebrand the Company. Prior to that, he was Director of Sales where he led the sales team, as well as a variety of positions of increasing responsibilities that included marketing, vendor relationships and the management of underperforming branches. He joined Coastal in 2000 in a general management capacity, growing the business in a variety of roles that resulted in significant growth of the Company. He began his career as a Financial Trainee for the holding company of Circuit City Stores. Mr. Harrell graduated from Wake Forest University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Business & Accountancy.

Samuel M. Guzman, Jr., Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer

Mr. Guzman joined Beacon in August 2020. Prior to Beacon, Mr. Guzman was the Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer of Liquidity Services, a publicly traded global solutions provider in the asset management and supply chain sector, since June 2018. From August 2016 to June 2018, Mr. Guzman was the Senior Director – Assistant Corporate Controller for Orbital ATK, a global leader in aerospace and defense technologies. Prior to that, he served as the Senior Associate – Assistant Corporate Controller of Booz Allen Hamilton, a global consulting firm. Earlier in his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Deloitte & Touche and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.

David J. Wrabel, Vice President & Chief Credit Officer

Mr. Wrabel joined Beacon in April 2006 and is responsible for overseeing all company-wide credit functions. Previously, he was with Veeder-Root Company, a Danaher Company, and was responsible for all credit and trade finance, as well as being a corporate resource for other Danaher Companies. From 1988 until 2002, Mr. Wrabel was manager of North American credit operations for Crompton Corporation, where he also held a variety of positions in financial planning, sales and marketing management and materials management. Mr. Wrabel holds a B.S. in business and finance from the University of Connecticut.

Jennifer N. Lewis, Vice President, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility

Ms. Lewis joined Beacon in 2019. She is responsible for corporate communications and the company’s direction in the areas of social and environmental purpose. Prior to joining Beacon, she was Head of Communications – Canada for LafargeHolcim, a global manufacturer and distributor of aggregates, asphalt, cement, and concrete. Ms. Lewis held roles in communications management for LafargeHolcim in the United States, France, and Canada for over 15 years. Earlier in her career, she worked in the consulting, education, and technology industries. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Richmond and an Executive Education Certificate in Corporate Citizenship Leadership from the Wallace Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College.

Stephen O. Balogun, Vice President, Internal Audit

Mr. Balogun joined Beacon in 2013. He is responsible for providing assurance on the effectiveness of risk management and the strength of the company’s control environment. Prior to joining Beacon, Mr. Balogun was with Leidos Corporation, a large government services contractor (formerly part of SAIC), and one of the largest research and technology companies in the United States. He spent 14 progressive years at SAIC during which he was a Deputy Business Unit Controller and one of the leaders of their Internal Audit Department. Mr. Balogun joined the company with extensive experience in internal audits, enterprise risk management, governance, internal control over financial reporting, fraud investigations, and risk-based audits. He received his Bachelor of Accountancy, Magna Cum Laude, from The George Washington University and an MBA with a Finance Concentration from Loyola University of Maryland. He holds certifications as a CPA, CIA, CFE and CGMA. He reports directly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors and administratively to the company's Chief Financial Officer.

Jamie Samide, Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Samide has leadership over eCommerce, private label strategy, digital marketing and lead generation, market research, and overall brand strategy and development. Prior to joining Beacon in 2017, he served as Senior Director for Cintas, leading brand strategy for its uniform rental division and developed the first national branding and advertising campaign in company history. Before that, he served in various brand management and sales roles with Procter & Gamble. Mr. Samide received his bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University at Buffalo Honors Program, and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Binit Sanghvi, Vice President, Capital Markets and Treasurer

Mr. Sanghvi joined Beacon in April 2021 and is responsible for leading the investor relations and treasury functions. He most recently headed investor relations for Builders FirstSource, Inc. (Nasdaq: BLDR), a $13 billion building materials supplier. Mr. Sanghvi managed the flow of information between the company, its shareholders, and the financial community, including communicating with buy-side investors and sell-side analysts. Previously, he held investor relations and treasury roles at multinationals ABB Group (NYSE: ABB) and Holcim Group (SIX: LHN). Earlier in his career, he held a broad range of financial management positions of increasing responsibility in the transaction advisory and banking sectors. Mr. Sanghvi holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
