PEABODY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 30, 2005--Beacon Roofing
Supply, Inc. (Nasdaq: BECN) ("Beacon") announced today the acquisition
of Easton Wholesale, Inc. ("EWI"), a distributor of mostly residential
building products located in Easton, Maryland.
EWI represents an excellent opportunity for Beacon to expand its
distribution business in the region between its existing locations in
Annapolis and Salisbury on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. EWI had
sales of $9.3 million in its most recent fiscal year ended December
31, 2004 and has been in the building material distribution business
since 1954.
