Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (the "Company") (NASDAQ:BECN) announced
today that it has appointed Brendan P. Daly as Executive Vice President
and Chief Supply Chain Officer and Patrick G. Murphy as Executive Vice
President, Business Improvement.
Mr. Daly has over twenty-five years of experience in sourcing,
logistics, transportation and purchasing in both manufacturing and
distribution environments. Prior to joining Beacon, he was the Vice
President of Supply Chain-Americas for Zodiac Pool Systems based in
California. Mr. Daly's prior experience includes working for Cooper
Industries, The Stanley Works and General Electric, all in supply chain
roles. Mr. Daly has a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States
Naval Academy. He and his wife Paula will be relocating from San Diego,
California to Herndon, Virginia.
After assisting with the transition of the supply chain role to Mr.
Daly, Mr. Murphy will be leading business improvement projects across
the Company, with focus upon assisting with recent and future
acquisitions. Mr. Murphy started his career in the roofing industry and
has been with Beacon for over twenty-five years. In 2008, he became a
Senior Vice President at Beacon and in 2011, he was promoted to
Executive Vice President. Mr. Murphy and his wife Charlotte will remain
located in Goldsboro, North Carolina at the headquarters of Beacon's
South Division.
