Beacon Roofing Supply Announces Acquisition of Portland, ME-Based Applicators Sales & Service

HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (Nasdaq: BECN) announced today that it has acquired Applicators Sales & Service ("Applicators"), a distributor of primarily residential roofing, siding, windows and related accessories with its headquarters in Portland, Maine. Founded in 1958 by David Koocher and Jerry Robinov, Applicators has remained owned by the Koocher and Robinov families with four branches in Maine (Portland, Bangor, Augusta and Auburn), one in Salem, New Hampshire and annual sales of approximately $48 Million.
