Beacon Roofing Supply Strengthens its Michigan Presence with the Acquisition of Acme Building Materials

HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc. (NASDAQ: BECN), the largest publicly traded distributor of residential and commercial roofing materials and complementary building products, announced today that it has acquired Acme Building Materials, Inc. ("Acme"), a distributor of residential roofing and related building products with three branches in Eastern Michigan. Acme is a third generation, family owned business with branches in Flint, Rochester Hills and Brighton. The addition of Acme brings the number of Beacon locations in Michigan to ten.
