Beacon Roofing Supply Strengthens its Pacific Northwest Presence by Seven Branches with the Acquisition of Snohomish, Washington-based American Building & Roofing, Inc.

HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Beacon Roofing Supply (NASDAQ: BECN), the largest publicly traded distributor of residential and commercial roofing materials and complementary building products, announced today that it has acquired American Building & Roofing, Inc. ("ABR"), a distributor of mainly residential roofing and related building products with seven branches around Washington State. Founded over 30 years ago, ABR has grown from its original store in Everett to seven branches by adding stores in Snohomish, Poulsbo, Pasco, Mt. Vernon, Yakima and Wenatchee.
